Skinny Repeal: Who knows….

Yes, the Senate Democrats, in theory could prolong the law by introducing amendments, until 09/30/18. They would need about 9,300 amendments related to the health care bills.
Over 30,000 amendments were submitted by INDIVISIBLE. As blogged here And here.

WHO VOTED:
All Rep. Senators, except two, voted for the MTP. The two Republican Senators, that will go down in history as heroes are women. Senator Susan Collins of Maine, and Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska are the two Republicans who voted against the Motion to Proceed (MTP). Both of these Senators need immediate positive feedback as they are being intimidated by their party. As of 07/26/17 Sen. Murkowski, seems to be flopping under the Republican Senate Pressure.

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO NOW:
CALL, Fax, contact your Democratic Senators. Immediate response of disapproval. Demand that your Democratic Senators REFUSE the SKINNY Amendment. The SKINNY AMMENDMENT IS A “TROJAN HORSE”.

7/25/17: MOTION TO PROCEED On Trumpcare Bill; Sight Unseen By Senate. NO Turning Back if this passes. Key Senators BULLIED for Votes

UPDATED: ALL Republican Senators voted for the MOTION TO PROCEED on 07-25-17, with the Exception of Collins (Maine), and Murkowski (Alaska), both female. One cannot envision what this day has been like for me, sadly my child witnessed a gut wrenching break down. Do Something or Do Nothing. Every Soul in America will feel the ramifications of this vote for decades to come. My children witness my calls, letters, my fight, my vision, my teachings and knowledge to every one I see, and thousands that I don’t. The fight for the right to receive medical care for every child, elder, disabled and poor person in this country. From my tears, to Gods ears.

Senate will vote on a MOTION-TO-PROCEED (MTP) on an unknown and unseen healthcare (tRUMPcare) bill today, 07/25/17. Unprecedented and (unfortunately) predictable at this point; Senators will vote on a MOTION TO PROCEED BEFORE seeing the tRUMPcare-health care bill, amendments, or any helter-skelter laws about healthcare. If the MTP succeeds–there will be NO GOING BACK. NONE.
According to David Durenberger former Republican Senator of Minnesota States unequivocally:
This week, the Senate once again is set to vote on a health care bill that will radically change how people get coverage and who can afford their care. But unlike normal times, Senators, you are being asked to approve a Motion to Proceed to a vote:

• Without knowing what will be in the bill you would vote on.
• Without knowing what the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office will say about the impact of major amendments and the final bill on coverage and premiums.
• With full knowledge that the Senate parliamentarian, who rules on what can and can’t be allowed in a budget bill, has said that the Senate must remove provisions intended to prevent an insurance market death spiral of sicker patients driving up costs.
Without knowing the details of the secret state Medicaid waivers the Trump administration insists will make the bill work.
Without knowing how your own state budget will be impacted.
• Without knowing how you will defend the provisions you will only learn about later, including the payoffs and other things that will be sneaked into the bill at the last minute.
Without even knowing which bill you are being asked to vote on, what the defining amendments will be and how much time you will have when being pressed for a final vote you’ll be stuck with. Forever.

He continues, a vote in these circumstances will rightly provoke anger and distrust unlikely to abate. Take it from me (David Durenberger, R-Min): A no vote on the Motion to Proceed this week is the only one that will be defensible in the years to come.

Since trump took office, we have seen several inhuman variations of the new healthcare bill. What has remained CORE throughout and we can expect at minimal are:

We cannot envision the totality of the bill Senate will approve by passing the Motion to Proceed. Listed are the consistent cuts across all legislation. #trumpcare[/caption]

The caveat…unexpectedly, McCain (R) AZ, is flying in, for the vote. Which may be the deal breaker.

I urge you to contact your Senators, and or the “key” Senators whose votes are up-in the air. Seemingly the “key” Senators changed their tunes, by good-ole peer pressure, bribery, threats and more. The same Senators listed below and here And here .

Except: Senators will vote sight unseen, on a Motion To Proceed (MTP) on the hidden health care bill….if the vote is a yes. There is NO GOING BACK. McConnell seems to have his ducks in a row. Confident this unprecedented MTP on tRUMPcare, and unknown amendments will pass. Contact NOW. MTP approval is the beginning of the end. This information must get mainstream. Trump and the boy scouts was hypocrisy, how many of the boy scouts he had cheering on tRUMPcare are on Medicaid? Which, will be cut. Continual lies televised & in print of tRUMPcare.

Side note: I’ve been ill, and not well enough to continue updating. I do not have affiliate Ads, nor have any monetary gain or any gain for posting facts. I’ve hoped others will realize the importance of being our own advocates, in so many varied settings. I am not sure if it’s even making a difference anymore. Or, if it ever has. Prayers.

This blog update is important: If the MTP is a yes; history, families, lives are changed forever. The next president, and many more presidents, will not be able to undo the damages this party has done and will do to America. Peace.

6/30/17 Update McConnell is working on the moderates Capito and Portman, offered both double-digit billions for their yes vote. He is putting the bait packaged as the offer would help the opioid crisis. As of early 6/30 both declined and apparently want more money for their states because of the Medicaid cut. I really don’t know why he is offering billions for opioids epidemic in Maine and Ohio. Treatment would not be covered if both states accept the 2 billion dollar bribe to cut ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE BENEFITS--his offer to buy these votes will increase, as he may have more flexibility with reducing a small amount from the trillion-dollar tax credit.

Reminding Heller and Collins why their no vote is vital. And congrats to them, stroking their ego, and thanking them for their support is needed. We can’t lose these two.

McConnell is also tightening up as he approaches the Conservatives. Contacting the conservatives should also be on our email, phone, fax and social media to do list every day. We have until Tuesday when they return from recess. I’m up all hours of the night waiting to see if he has cut a deal while America sleeps.

Senate AHCA More Lies: Secret Senate Health Care Repeal: Expect More Lies

Senate version of #AHCA expect “window dressings”, “smoke screens”, (i.e., lies) about pre-existing conditions, as “covered” but do not offer services to cover Preexisting per elimination of Essential Health Care Benefits: BEWARE. Senate #AHCA Version serves as a base for the diabolical AHCA passed, CBO analysis by Congress in May. Link to what Congress members voted for the #AHCA.

CBO Released on AHCA of 2017, as passed by Congress

Basically, the budget may be balanced, by stepping over millions of dead bodies. CBO analysis is questionable, millions more will be uninsured, and the death spiral not factored into the CBO.

From my limited knowledge what stands out to me as reading the CBO: Your screwed if you have a Pre Existing Condition.
States that accept the Federal Waivers, can & will ELIMINATE Essential Health Benefits AND Pre Existing Conditions.

Billions of Medicaid cuts.

Billions in the Pockets of the rich.

Basically, the budget may be balanced, by stepping over millions of dead bodies. Yep, that’s as far as I was able to stomach reading. Hopefully, the experts and economists can interpret further.

The CBO did not take into account the millions that will lose healthcare due to Pre-Existing Conditions, “instability would cause some people who would have been insured in the nongroup market under current law to be uninsured”. Nor the approximately 750,000 people enrolled in the Basic Health Programs (BHP)in New York and Minnesota.

Two exerpts from the CBO:

CBO and JCT expect that, as a consequence, the waivers in those states would have another effect: Community-rated premiums would rise over time, and people who are less healthy (including those with preexisting or newly acquired medical conditions) would ultimately be unable to purchase comprehensive nongroup health insurance at premiums comparable to those under current law, if they could purchase it at all—despite the additional funding that would be available under H.R. 1628 to help reduce premiums. As a result, the nongroup markets in those states would become unstable for people with higher-than-average expected health care costs. That instability would cause some people who would have been insured in the nongroup market under current law to be uninsured.”

the ACA’s ban on annual and lifetime limits on covered benefits would no longer apply to health benefits not defined as essential in a state. As a result, for some benefits that might be removed from a state’s definition of EHBs but that might not be excluded from insurance coverage altogether, some enrollees could see large increases in out-of-pocket spending because annual or lifetime limits would be allowed. That could happen, for example, to some people who use expensive prescription drugs. Out-of- pocket payments for people who have relatively high health care spending would increase most in the states that obtained waivers from the requirements for both the EHBs and community rating.”
